The best way to live is to live for Jesus first, others second, and yourself last. I agree with this quote in that it is easier to live for Jesus when you are doing well in life. But I disagree in that if I am doing well in life, I should not feel guilty about doing well in life. The people who say they are poor should not be embarrassed to admit that they are poor because that is how they felt when they were poor.
It does not matter what other people think of you when you are following God's word. If you are living for Jesus first, others second, and yourself last, then you will never be ashamed of your own failures or successes. This is the number one law to follow when you are living for Jesus first, others second, and yourself last.
No one can ever out do God because God is all powerful. He will always lift us up regardless of our failures or successes so we can always feel good about ourselves regardless of whether we are good or bad.
